                                    THE DAY THE SUN FORGOT SHINEOne morning, Maya woke up to find somethingvery strange- the sun had forgotten to rise! Thesky was dark, and the birds were quiet. Sherubbed her eyes and looked outside. The worldlooked sleepy, as if it was waiting for something.Maya quickly ran to her little brother, Aarav. %u201cThe sun is missing!%u201d she whispered. Aarav gasped.%u201c Maybe its lost! We have to help it find its wayback%u201d.The two put on their jackets and stepped outside.The streetlights were still glowing, and the starstwinkled in the sky, but the world felt different.They met their neighbor, Granny Meera, whosmiled and said, %u201c The sun shines when the worldis happy. Maybe we need to bring happinessback.%u201dMaya and Aarav thought hard. They decided todo small things to spread joy.Maya shared her chocolates with a little boy.Aarav helped a puppy find its mother. Theygreeted everyone with big smiles.Then, they saw Mr. Rao, the grumpy shopkeeper.He looked sad. Maya and Aarav sang him a funnysong. He chuckled and gave them a candy. Theworld felt a little brighter.Soon, laughter and kindness spread everywhere.Children played, neighbors talked, and birdsbegan to chirp. Suddenly, something magicalhappened. A soft golden light peeked through thesky. The sun was waking up! It stretched its warmrays across the land, as if thanking them for theirkindness.Maya and Aarav cheered. %u201cThe sun wasn%u2019t lost! Itjust needed a reason to shine.%u201dThat night, as Maya lay in bed, she whispered,%u201cHappiness is like the sun %u2013 it shines brightestwhen we share it.%u201d And with that, she drifted off tosleep, dreaming of another beautiful day.- ASHER JOHN II BA VISIT TO THE MUSUEMLast weekend, my family and I visited the M.VisvesvarayaIndustrial and technological museum in Bangalore. Iwas very excited because I love learning about scienceand technology. The museum is named after Sir. M.Visveswaraya, a great engineer and scientist of India.When we entered, I saw many interesting machinesand models. The museum has different galleries thatshow how science and technology work in our dailylives and teach us in a fun way.Amazing galleries and exhibits1. Engine hall %u2013 The first section we explored had bigmachines, engines and even a real aero plane. Itshowed how engines work in factories andtransportation.2. Wright brothers Plane model- I saw a model of thefirst aero plane made by the wright brothers. It wasamazing to see aero planes were invented.3. Fun science gallery- This was my favorite. It hadmirrors, magnets, spinning wheels and experimentsthat made learning science fun.4. Dinosaur corner- There was a model of a dinosaurthat moved and made sound. It looks real and a littlescary!5. 3D Science show- we watched an exciting 3D movieabout space, which made me feel like I was flyingamong the stars.6. Space gallery- I learned about planets, rockets andastronauts. There was a model of a rocket and Iimagined being an astronaut fly into space.7. Biotechnology gallery- Here, I learned about plants,animals and the human body. There were models ofthe human brain and heart that explained how theyfunction.8. Ball hall- This gallery was all about communication.It showed how telephones, radios and television work.After exploring all the galleries, we visited the museumshop, where I bought a small rocket model as asouvenir. There was also a play area where childrencould do simple science experiments. Visiting theVisveswaraya museum was ana amazing experience. Itmade me love science even more.
