                                    Small Changes, Big DifferenceENVIRONMENT DAY CELEBRATION%u201cA nation that destroys its soils destroys itself.Forests are the lungs of our land, purifying theair and giving fresh strength to our people.%u201dFranklin D Roosevelt.%u201cOur Land. Our Future%u201d Considering this themewe the Francisians of primary block planned tocelebrate the day with pomp, splendor andexcitement.A committee was formed to plan out andorganize this special event. Our main aim was tospread awareness amongst little Francisians oncaring for the environment.Students were asked to make posters andplacards on the theme of Environment Day andthey were dressed in attractive and innovativeattire.Two students from each section were nominatedto be the Green Ambassadors and were allottedwith the duty of taking care of their respectiveclass rooms including cleanliness and electricityconservation. Students were encouraged togerminate a sapling which was displayed in theclass thereafter. Our young Francisiansparticipated in the ramble walk around thecampus, with much enthusiasm, holdingplacards, and raising slogans. Teachers designeda beautiful message on Environment Day andgifted them to Rev. Brothers, AcademicSupervisor, Coordinators and class teachers.We concluded the day with a beautiful aura andpositive vibe gained from the divine Prayer ofour Patron saint St Francis of Assisi, the naturelover %u201cPraised be You, my Lord, through ourSister, Mother Earth, who sustains and governsus, producing varied fruits with colouredflowers and herbs.%u201d%u2018 T v i s h a %u2019 - T h e L i g h t
