St. Francis School ICSE is focussed not only on the education of its students but also helps
determine the students’ talents and helps in the development of this talent.
Sports and Club activities came into existence in the year 2015 as “Extracurricular
activities” which were Cricket, Athletics, Dance, Art & Craft and English elocution. As the
students began to show interest in curricular activities, the school management decided
to have more activities in the following years.
In 2018, St. Francis Sports Academy came in to existence with a variety of activities for
students to learn and grow with their talents. We have 2 different categories of activities
like Sports (outdoor) and Club activities (classroom). Sports activities like Cricket,
Basketball, Football, Badminton, Skating and Handball are done after school hours and
Club activities like English elocution, Abacus, Art & craft, Dance (Bollywood, Western &
Classical), Robomation, Calligraphy, Vedic maths and Music like Keyboard, Western &
Hindustani Vocal.
Every year we conduct a Summer Camp from March end to April end for almost 30 days
with limited activities and Co-Curricular activities (CCA) during the academic year.

Smart Kidz Star Academy:
This academy provides a learning environment that encourages children to bring out the best
in them, to create a liking for learning, enhance creativity and illuminate their intellect in many
different ways. Certified GAJSMA-India provide certified teachers to take up Dance like western
& classical, Art & Craft, Calligraphy, Chess & Vedic Math’s.
Robomation:
Team Robomations, (Robotics + Animations) a Bangalore-based ed-tech company is driven to
spark inspiration in the minds of youngsters and aspiring students from all across the nation.
They are a dedicated team in the field of teaching students Coding and Robotics for the past 6
years.
Keyboard & Western Vocal:
Mr. Stany is a Certified keyboardist from Trinity, Bangalore and also music teacher in school.
Works for 2 bands and also has competed in many musical competitions and won. Manages
Francitos choir which consist of 80 Vocals and also have given shows in Glorious concerts,
Magnifica in Christ, deemed to be university and also performed for Chandana channel for
their Christmas programme.
Hindustani Vocal:
Ms. Ipsita Chakraborty holds a Diploma in Music. Has performed live shows in many bands and
also in TV shows. Works towards improvements in voice modulation, understanding of
notations and overall music sense in students.
Cricket:
Mr. N.S Vineel Kumar has been appointed as a cricket coach. He is a
certified Level 2 cricket coach from KITES - "KOOH Sports Institute of
Training & Excellence for Sports Skill" Level - O Foundation Course in the
Andhra Cricket Association. He has represented the Andhra Cricket
Association (ACA) U-16, U-19, U-23, U-25, and senior state teams.
Additionally, he played for Sri Krishna Devaraya University (SKU) at the All
India University Championship and won the BCCI South Zone
Championship U-19 (ODI) Tournament.
Under his coaching, Lakshan and Arun KP represented KISA at the KISA
Nationals. Moreover, Lakhan, Abhiram, and Chirag represented the
Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) Zonal in various age
categories.
Atheltics & Handball:
A Kolandai Raj is a motivational coach. He is a certified “B P. ED”.
Represented University, State level for handball and also represented his
College and University in many other games even at thestate level. Under
his supervision Bennet of class 10th has represented the school in state
and National Level Athletics and achieved Gold and silver. Sidharth Anand
of class 10th and Mohammed Fouzan of class 9th have represented the
school at the State level in 2019-2020 and achieved Runner up and Best
Player Award...
Football:
Ms. Nesa kumari has participated National level competitions and won
the De sales trophy 2018 winners under 14, Chinmay cup 2019 Runner up
and Green wood school Runner up girls under 14.
Skating:

Basketball:
Mrs. Sowmya M and Mrs. Mary are excellent coaches. They have the
passion, expertise, knowledge and the patience to teach younger
children.
Mrs. Sowmya M has represented VTU team 3 times. Represented
Karnataka state in National meet 7 times and was awarded the best
outgoing sports woman from Acharya Institute of Technology. Statistician
for international meet: FIBA Women’s Asia cup, India 2017. She has won
a Bronze medal at the National level women's sports competition,
Hyderabad – 2016 and also was for 2 years the coach for Rajiv Gandhi
University of Health Science Basketball Team. Mrs. Mary has represented
the state 2 times at the district level & state level, National and secured
2nd Place. Attended Junior NBA session in 2019 and is also pursuing a
specialised basketball BPED course.

Meet Pradeep Kumar, a skilled System Admin and Technical Trainer at St. Francis
School. With his expertise in various technical skills like Photoshop, Animation,
VBScript, and WordPress, he has been instrumental in imparting knowledge and
guidance to students and faculty alike.
