The focus of teaching in this section is primarily towards a wide range of class room activities that serve as stimuli for the students.
Teachers aim to train the children to speak competently and creatively; to use phonics to read unknown words; to participate in conversations; to develop thinking and complete tasks; to understand , recall and respond.
The course curriculum includes:
Literacy - easy words and repetition of phrases in easily understandable chunks.
Numeracy - simple number concepts: more, less, large, small, full, empty and counting.
Spoken English - develop speaking using pictures, colours, toys, puppets.
Story time- listen, imagine and visualise the story.
Rhymes - identify sounds and movements in a rhythmic way.
Colouring – explore colours with crayons, chalk and water colours.
