School Activities


Our commitment to meaningful education is of prime importance. The education provided to the students in school aims at ‘Education for life’ which nurtures them for a better future and equips them with self confidence, leadership skills and enhancement.

The clubs are an attempt to develop the personality and character of students. A range of club activities are provided to suit the different age group of the students. This helps to encourage our students to pursue areas of personal interest.

For Std IV to X, the various club offered are in the areas of Science, Music, Arts and Crafts, Quiz, Dramatics and Public Speaking. Club activities form a part of the school curriculum, and take place every day during school hours. Students are graded on these club activities.

Music, Karate, Dance (Classical and Contemporary), Skating, Football, Robotics, Cricket and Speed Math are the other activities taught by professionals at a nominal rate.




For students from Nursery to Std III


A wide range of activities within and outside the classroom are conducted throughout the year. These include recitation, drawing, story telling, colouring, spelling, handwriting, fancy dress, singing, clay modeling and group dance.


A healthy competition is also encouraged in these sessions. Boys and girls alike are very active in this age group and are nurtured by an enthusiastic staff who ensures fair play.



For students from Std IV to Std VIII


Students from Class IV upwards have club activities which form a part of the school curriculum everyday during school hours.


The club activities are : Quiz club, Public Speaking, SUPW. Students are graded on these activities.


Music, Karate, Dance (Classical and Contemporary), Skating, Football, Robotics, Cricket and Speed Math are the other activities taught by professionals at a nominal rate.


Children also take part in various competitions including General knowledge quiz, collage making, march past, singing (solo), drawing, spelling, extempore, skits, elocution and debate.


Points are awarded for competitions and are added into the house system.


The school is a member of KISA - Karnataka ICSE Schools Association - where it participates in talent search examination (all classes) as well as inter school competitions like elocution, creative writing, basketball tournament, music, quiz, pick-and-speak and other various events (for particular classes only).



CMCA


Children’s movement for civic awareness (CMCA) was introduced in the year 2008. CMCA endeavours to create civic and environmental awareness amongst our students. CMCA’s ardent aspiration is to facilitate the transformation of children as sensitive, caring, civic consciousness and active citizens in the school. Classes VIII and IX participate in this activity.



Science & SUPW Exhibition


Science and SUPW exhibitions are held every year to bring out the talents of our young scientists and exhibit the creativity of the students. Neighbouring schools are invited to view the display and encourage our students.
