The students of Class VIII are given an opportunity to look at life around them differenty, by becoming members of the civic clubs Future Challengers and Civic Teens.
CMCA classes and workshops are held usually once a week and conducted by civic tutors who impart knowledge and first hand experiences of the civic senses one needs to cultivate and motivate.
CMCA’s main theme is 'Ripple Effect'. Every student member is at the center of the ripple and understands the four magic words of CMCA i.e. ‘Change Begins With Me”. These enthusiastic children spread the ripples of change to the family members, friends, immediate neighbours and society at large.
Various activities that the student involve in over the years included topics and themes such as banning use of plastic bag, traffic policy day, Pourakarmika’s Day, rain water harvesting, wildlife preservation etc.
