Angels Club is an initiative of St Francis School. It aims at making students and parents aware of socio-economic, educational and environmental issues our society faces. It also helps them to understand their social responsibilities to inculcate concern, compassion and care, and to arouse willingness to spend time, energy and resources in addressing these issues.
The Angels Club dedicates itself to conduct awareness, educational camps, and seminars for students, availing our campus to conduct classes for the needy, visiting disabled and orphans and offering them aids. Concentrating on the poor and vulnerable children, the members of Angels Club have extended their help by arranging evening classes for the children of the construction workers in the campus. In the year 2009, the Angels Club came forward in the assistance of the flood victims of North Karnataka by providing cloths, toilet articles ect.
In the same year, its members personally visited the victims of landslide in Coonoor, in Tamil Nadu, and provided cloths, food and other essentials.
A member of the school staff was financially helped during his ailments.
Parents and students are encouraged to become members of this club. The angels club looks forward to enlarge its service to needy in the society.
